Michael Davies-Venn is a public-policy analyst and political-communications expert, based in Berlin. His research is focused on issues of global governance, including climate change and human rights. He was recently named junior fellow in the Ethics of the Anthropocene Programme at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where he is a guest researcher.

Socialised power: electricity is a public good

The Scottish Government has dropped plans for a National Energy Company in favour of a watered-down advisory agency but the author says electricity should be treated as a public (common) good. The debate continues.
