Options and challenges for Wales’s constitutional future

·

The Independent Commission on the Constitutional Future of Wales reported in January 2024.

The Commission had both independent experts and party political nominees on it, produced a unanimous report, and found that the three main constitutional options they focused on – enhanced devolution, a federal UK and an independent Wales – were all viable (each with their own strengths and challenges).

In this new podcast, Kirsty Hughes talks to Dr Anwen Elias, Reader in politics at the University of Aberystwyth and an expert member of the Commission about the findings of the Commission and its relevance to Scotland.
